END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

SECTION 1
1.0 This website is a digital companion to Wendy Hui Kyon Chun's book, Control and Freedom: Power and Paranois in the Age of Fiber Optics, published by MIT Press. Each page represents one of the chapters in the book, and the text on each page is consists of the introduction to that chapter. The one exception is the page for chapter four, which is based on introductory sentences from paragraphs in the first three sections of the chapter. The pages of the site are designed to illustrate and engage with the material in each chapter. They do not reproduce the content of the book so much as radically remediate it.
